LOCH LOMOND

"LOCH LOMOND is the largest body of freshwater in mainland Britain being 22.6 miles long and between 0.62 miles to almost 5 miles across at its widest point. Renowned world-wide, Loch Lomond has attracted generation after generation from throughout the UK for a wide range of water sports and other outdoor recreational pursuits as well as less active pleasures such as lochside walks, picnicking or just relaxing and enjoying the peace and tranquillity of its unique atmosphere and magnificent scenery... The LOCH LOMOND ASSOCIATION (LLA) is a formally constituted voluntary membership not-for-profit body whose principal aims are that of preserving and protecting the natural and cultural heritage of Loch Lomond, its islands and shoreline, while promoting a balanced and sympathetic public right of access.
