His work strongly focuses on the behavioural characteristics of clay when constricted into the idea of the Cylinder as an abstract form.This results in an unattainable action towards the so-called idea, which practically translates into an endless tension that aims at the intrinsic qualities of the abstract Cylinder... This action is what really characterises his work, and at the same time, because unattainable, it needs a justification. Exaggerating the scale of the piece seems the only way to justify the endless tension or, in other words, the impossibility of making a perfect abstract Cylinder.
