Andrea provides a wide range of assurance services, including audit, review and compilation engagements, tax return reporting and corporate and individual tax planning. Andrea works closely with clients in a variety of industries, such as agriculture, real estate, manufacturing, professional services and not-for profit organizations. Prior to joining Melo LLP, Andrea spent 17 years in both regional and national accounting firms. Andrea earned her Bachelor of Administration degree (BBA) from Kwantlen Polytechnic University (British Columbia) in 2004. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2007.

Beverly Climie

Beverly specializes in assisting corporations, business-owners and not-for-profit organizations with business, tax and financial matters. She works closely with clients in a variety of industries such as agriculture, construction real estate, retail and not-for profit organizations. The services Beverly provides include: assurance services (audits and review engagements), compilation engagements, tax reporting as well as corporate and individual tax planning. Prior to joining Melo LLP, Beverly spent 30 years at regional and national accounting firms as well as not-for-profit organizations within Canada and abroad. She has held various senior positions, most recently serving as partner for nearly 5 years at her previous firm. Beverly earned her Bachelor of Business degree from Brock University in 1992. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 1993. Beverly is an advocate of working collaboratively and empowering her team, while delivering a first class experience for clients. With more than 30 years of experience, Beverly has the knowledge and insight to help with all of your accounting and business matters. David R. Mallick

David is often described as a partner of the businesses he assists as a result of his dedication and desire to help clients succeed. David specializes in assisting corporations, business owners and members of the agricultural sector with their tax, business and financial affairs. He works closely with clients in a variety of industries such as agriculture, cannabis, construction, real estate, manufacturing and professional services. Prior to joining Melo LLP David spent 22 years at a regional accounting firm, serving as a partner of the firm for 16 years. David earned his Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo in 1995 and his Bachelor of Commerce from the Unversity of Windsor in 2005. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2004. David is a strong advocate of collaborative teamwork and is passionate about empowering his team and working together collectively to ensure clients success.

Jason J. Melo

Jason specializes in assisting corporations, business owners and high net worth families with their financial, tax and business affairs. He brings tremendous passion and energy to every situation while taking a vested interest in helping clients achieve their objectives. Always ready to provide proactive advice he takes great pride in being a trusted senior advisor to clients and stakeholders. A four-year Academic All-Canadian with the University of Windsor varsity hockey program Jason graduated (with Distinction) in 2005 and became a Chartered Accountant in 2007. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois (2009), obtained his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 2010 and his Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation in 2022. Prior to founding Melo LLP Jason spent the previous 17 years with both regional and national accounting firms. He held various senior positions specializing in both domestic and international taxation while spending the last 4 years as the CEO and Managing Partner of a regional accounting firm. A true entrepreneur in his own right, Jason is the President and co-owner of the Leamington Flyers Junior Hockey Club and owns several entities in the construction industry that are focused primarily on residential and commercial building and development.

Julia A. Lee

Julia is a proud alumni of the University of Windsor, graduating (with Honours) receiving her Bachelors of Commerce in 2006. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2009. Prior to joining Melo LLP, Julia spent 17 years at a regional accounting firm. She held various senior positions specializing in both domestic and international taxation as well as audit services, while spending the last 13 years as Partner. A family of accountants, Julia is a second generation CPA. Julia is also heavily involved in the Windsor-Essex community, volunteering and holding various board level positions for organizations across the region since 2006.

Laura Hanlon

Prior to joining Melo LLP, Laura spent 15 years with a locally owned accounting firm. She moved up the ranks from CA student, to staff accountant, to Account Manager and has spent the last two years as a Junior Partner. Laura earned her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the Wilfrid Laurier University in 2007. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2010. Being born and raised on a farm in Arkona, Laura has always had a strong passion and keen interest in agricultural industry in all facets. So much so that she and her family have started their own farming business in the Sarnia area, growing since 2011.

Mark graduated from the University of Windsor in 2003 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) - Business Administration (Co-op) degree. He received his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 2006 from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and began his career with a national accounting firm.

Mitchell Geerts

Mitchell provides corporations, business owners and sole proprietors insight and knowledge to navigate through their financial and tax issues. Mitchell is a local to the Strathroy area and is invested in assisting small businesses succeed and meet their objectives. Prior to joining Melo LLP, Mitchell spent 8 years at a regional accounting firm. Mitchell earned his Bachelor of Business and Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2014. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2017. Mitchell is excited to join the Melo team in the Strathroy office and help clients achieve their objectives. Outside of work, Mitchell has taken a role in the community, joining the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation (SMGHF) as a member of the Board of Directors and Finance Committee.

Robert Folino

Robert graduated from the University of Windsor in 2008 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) - Business Administration (Co-op) degree.
