MANARET HELIOPOLIS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

Over the Spring Break, MHIS - through our partner organization Mawahab - proudly sent two teams of students to compete in the 11th annual International Robotics Championship in Oradea, Romania. These students competed against 304 teams from 14 other countries. The MHIS Pioneers won FIRST PLACE in the Lego Sumo Robot portion of the competition. The team members are: Youssef Ashraf Mohamed Abdelaziz Mohamed Abdelkhalek (MYP 1), Mahmoud Mohamed Sobhy Abdelhalim Mehram (MYP 2), and Youssef Mohamed Afifi Ismail Konsowa (MYP 1). The MHIS Leaders won SECOND PLACE in the Lego Follower Line Robot portion of the competition. The team members are Alya Ahmed Mohamed Halim Ibrahim Salem (MYP 3), Seifeldeen Ahmed Mohamed Halim Ibrahim Salem (MYP 4), Abdelrahman Maged Abdelrahman Moustafa Hawana - (MYP 3), and Adham Mohamed Yehia Abdelhai Ibrahim (MYP 3).
