Dr. Nancy Gardner

Dr. Gardner is a fully licensed psychologist and owner/director of New Directions Counseling and Neurobehavioral Center, LLC. Dr. Gardner completed a 6-year doctoral program in Clinical Psychology at Capella University with her practicum and internship training conducted in Minnesota and Arizona. She completed her Master Degree at Oakland University and her Bachelor degree at Saginaw Valley State University. Dr. Gardner has worked in the mental health field for greater than 25 years, providing mental health and substance abuse treatment to adults, adolescents, children, families and groups. As part of her work experience, practicum and internship, Dr. Gardner has gained advanced training in Neuropsychological Testing, ADHD, DBT, Play Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Medical Hypnosis. Dr. Gardner currently provides outpatient mental health treatment utilizing multiple modalities that address each client's individual needs and concerns. Dr. Gardner also conducts Social Security Evaluations and manages New Directions Counseling and Neurobehavioral Center, LLC. Dr. Gardner prides herself on the excellent mental health treatment provided at New Directions by the caring and professional therapists and staff. Dr. Gardner provides both secular and Christian counseling. Dr. Gardner provides services to children, adolescents, adults and the geriatric population.

Stacey Thrush

Stacey Thrush obtained a degree in Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University and received honors in the Advanced Placement Master Social Work Program from Michigan State University. She has training in trauma, poverty, addiction, abuse, depression and behavioral issues. Her passion is working with "at risk" and troubled populations. Mrs. Thrush provides both secular and Christian counseling. She utilizes an eclectic approach to tailor to the unique needs of each new client. Mrs. Thrush provides treatment to children, adults, individuals and families.
