has extensive business experience in various industry sectors such as manufacturing, property development and management, marketing, and education. He served as General Manager and Project Manager of three public-listed companies before starting his own business in 1993. He is knowledgeable in all aspects of company administration and government regulations and in business project studies and start-ups. He is a trained Industrial and Systems Engineer from the University of Singapore and has a Master's in Business Administration from the Asian Institute of Management, Philippines. He also has a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. For his community work, he was conferred the Penang State Awards, PJK in 2012 and the PKT in 2019.

Peter Lim Huat Chye is currently Senior Consultant & Medical Director of the Andrology, Urology & Continence Center at STARMED SPECIALIST CENTRE, Singapore, Visiting Consultant at the Dept of Urology, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Singapore. Prof Lim also serves as the Adjunct Professor (Men's Health) at Edith Cowen University, Western Australia & Honorary Professor (Urology & Andrology), Naval Medical School, Indonesia. In 2008 he was appointed Dean, Institute for Men's Health, Singapore. Founder President of the Society for Men's Health (Singapore), Prof Lim is also President of the Society for Continence, Singapore, the Asia- Pacific Continence Advisory Board, and Founder President of the Asian Society for Female Urology. Graduating with an MBBS from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Singapore in 1975, Prof Lim went on to obtain his Mastership in Advanced Surgery, from the same university in 1980. From 1987 to 1988 he completed his Government of Singapore Scholarship for Advanced Urology Training at the University of Edinburgh (Western General Hospital), in the UK where he majored in Continence Surgery & Sexual Medicine. His previous positions include Chief of Dept of Urology at Changi General Hospital (1997-2000) and Head of the Division of Urology at Toa Payoh Hospital (1991-1997). Prof Lim was also previously Visiting Consultant at the Dept of Urology of the National University Hospital of Singapore, Visiting Professor for the Department of Urology, Dong-A Medical University, Korea. A member of many international societies, including the American Urological Society, the British Urological Association & the International Society for Sexual Medicine, Prof Lim has also served on the editorial boards of various journals, including the Singapore Medical Journal and the Annals of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He's the author of many articles published in peer-review journals, Prof Lim has also contributed to nine previous books. His research interests and specialties include andrology, erectile dysfunction, incontinence, and general urology. His latest book entitled "Men's Health" was published by Spinger Verlag (Lond) in March 2013. Amongst honors conferred on him are the Honorary Membership of the Institute of Urology, London (1992), the Singapore Urological Association Lectureship of the Year 2001, Honorary Membership of the Thai Urological Association 2011, and the Eminent Scientist of the Year 2003 Award from the International Research Promotion Council of the World Scientists Forum. In 2021 taking the role of Chairman of the Prostate Committee of Farrer Park Hospital Singapore, he & his team bagged the Innovation award for "Advanced Innovation in Urology in the Asia Pacific" presented by the Global Health Awards Committee 2021. Currently, Dr. Lim's passion is in improving the end result of curative treatments for Prostate Cancer, the commonest Cancer in Men. He is pioneering MRI Tulsa Pro, a non-invasive Directional Therapeutic Ultrasound modality that cures stage 1 & 2 Prostate Cancer without the need for any form of Surgery or Radiotherapy as the last 2 methods can cause Incontinence & Erectile Dysfunction in a significant number of patients so treated.
