Adewole Akinyemi Atere

Adewole Akinyemi Atere had his B.SC, M.SC and PhD degrees in Sociology at the University of Ibadan. He has honours and distinctions at LASU Centre for Development and Democratic Studies, funded by Ford Foundation. He was awarded the Provost/Deans/Head of Campus/Directors Awards for the publication of the book "The Captor, The Captive and Society". His research focus and specialization is Criminology and Penology. Adewole Akinyemi Atere published "Man and Society: The Communication Imperatives" in 1998, "The Press and The Larger Society" in 1998, "Crime in Lagos" in 1995, "Value, Sociology, Science, and Sociology Inquiry" in 1998, "Operation Sweep and The Security of Life and Property in Lagos State" in 1999, "Health Implications of Female Genital Mutilation" in year 2000, "Adjustment Mechanism of Female Prisoners in South Western Nigeria" in year 2001 and "Cultism and Unionism: A Case of Perpetual Conflict".

Femi Olubanwo

Femi Olubanwo is a founding partner of Banwo and Ighodalo, a leading Corporate and Commercial law firm in Nigeria. He graduated with an LLB Honours degree from the University of Lagos in 1981 and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in July, 1982. After a short stint with the Lagos State Ministry of Justice, he joined the Lagos Commercial Law firm of Chris O. Okunowo & Co in September 1983. In February 1991, he co-founded the law firm, Banwo & Ighodalo as a partnership. The firm has since grown from two Partners and one Associate to over 70 lawyers with offices in Lagos, Abuja and Ogun. Femi Olubanwo has led or participated in many of his firm's important financing transactions and is ranked as a leading Nigerian by renowned international law directories such as Chambers and Partners, IFLR 1000 and Who's Who Legal. In the public sector, he has served as a member of the Bureau of Public Enterprises' Solid Minerals Sector Steering Committee, as a resource person for the Presidential Technical Committee on Solid Minerals Development, as a member of the Presidential Technical Committee on the Development of Coal Production in Nigeria, and as Chairman, Committee to Create a Code of Governance/Ethics for Capital Markets Regulators. Mr. Olubanwo is a consummate mentor and adviser and is passionate about seeing young Nigerians grow and become agents of change.

Laurie Idahosa

Rev. Laurie Idahosa has travelled to well over 40 countries with renowned ministries, spreading the gospel. She graduated from the School of Biblical Studies and the School of Ministerial Training in New Castle, DE and received her Bachelor's in Christian Ministry from Chesapeake Bible College and Seminary IB Maryland, USA. She also trained as a missionary, an Emergency Medical Technician, First Aid and CPR instructor and a Disaster Relief Responder. She is a gifted event manager and real estate investor and has owned several successful businesses. She is trilingual in Spanish, Pidgin and English. She has been an Executive Member of the BIU board since 2003. Rev. Laurie Idahosa has been an Executive Member of the Benson Idahosa University Board since 2003 and she set up the BIU Campus Life Division in 2009. She has a passion for youth development. She is the cofounder of Nathan American Academy and Big Ben's Children's Hospital in Edo State. Most recently she has spearheaded the campaign to raise relief materials and funds for Internally Displaced Children in Edo State. She also works with other organizations to bring relief to other refugee camps in Nigeria. She is often featured on major TV programs, radio shows and blogs across Nigeria Subomi Plumptre heads the Corporate and Social Media Practices of Alder Consulting, Nigeria's leading creative intelligence company. She is on the Executive Committee of the firm, where she oversees Knowledge & HR. A Hootsuite certified professional, Subomi was the curator of Nigeria's first research based Social Media Report - the Alder Social Media Report. With an academic background in analytical reasoning, scientific investigation and practical research, Subomi has been a team lead for Alder on a number of diverse Government and Corporate projects including the Educational Sector Transformation Plan of the Federal Ministry of Education; The Reform Programmes of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs & the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and the Restructuring of the Ministry of Solid Minerals Development. She spearheaded the development of an External Communication Programme for the British Council; coordinated Acculturation Programmes for First Bank and was tasked with developing ongoing Brand Strategy for Guaranty Trust Bank. Mokutima Ajileye

Oba Adedokun Abolarin is a highly educated professional, holding a Law degree, a Master's degree in International Relations and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Obafemi Awolowo University (formerly University of Ife). Until his installation as Òràngún of Òkè-Ìlá, Oba Adedokun Abolarin, he was the principal partner of Dokun Abolarin & Co., a firm of Solicitors and Legal Consultants, which served as Company Secretary to various corporations including Tell Publications (Publishers of Tell Magazine), Pacific Holdings, Peachtree Communications Ltd, Sportsmark International and Springtime Development Foundation. He was a lecturer at the Oyo State College of Arts and Science, Ile Ife, Saint Andrew's College of Education Oyo and Times Journalism Institute. Oba Adedokun Abolarin is an academic authority on Nigerian government and politics having researched and written on the period from the 1914 amalgamation to recent times, in which he evaluated component elements of federal, regional/state & local government administration and analysed Nigerian foreign policy, political parties and pressure groups. He was a Special Adviser to the Senate President of Nigeria on Legal Matters. Mokutima Ajileye is currently the Group Regional Brand Manager in one of Nigeria's leading multinationals. She works across brands in the India, Middle East & Africa region. She is a Brand & Business Management expert; highly skilled in the areas of Integrated Brand Communication, Business Strategy and Planning, Business Analysis, Brand Equity Management and Advertising. She has 13 years' experience in the FMCG sector, managing different brands and working across various roles in Brand Management, Marketing and Manufacturing. A strategic thinker with uncanny understanding of complex brand & business challenges; combined with strong problem solving and decision-making skills, Mokutima Ajileye has been responsible for developing marketing strategies, plans and brand communication choices for major categories in the Nigerian market. She also has extensive experience in launching new brands into the market. Mokutima is passionate about image management and building brands - personal and corporate. Outside of the corporate world, she volunteers her time as Head of Benevolence at Global Harvest Church, Lagos. Nathaniel Adegoke

Nathaniel Adegoke is a trained management consultant with several years experience working within consultancy and projects environment. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science. He is also an alumnus of HEC Paris where he studied MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He is the managing partner at Project People Limited. A firm he started 12 years ago after returning to Nigeria form the UK where he had previously lived and worked. He was part of the very first APMG's PRINCE2 Professional assessment in the world which he passed brilliantly. He is an accredited Management of Risk (MoR) Practitioner and the first APMG approved PRINCE2 trainer in West Africa. His major areas of competence and specialization include strategy, business development and project management. Nathaniel was the presidential campaign manager for a leading political party during the 2019 national elections in Nigeria. Olujimi Adegoke

Olujimi Adegoke graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria with a B.SC Hon. in Geology. He had his Master's degree in water and waste engineering at the University of Technology, Loughborugh, UK. He did his postgraduate studies in water supply and engineering at the International Institute for Hydraulic Lowcost Environmental Engineering (IHE) Delft, Sanitation, Netherlands. He is a member of Water Engineers and Environmental Management, UK and Nigerian Mining and Geo Science Society as well as a corporate member of National Association of Hydro Geologists. Olujimi Adegoke began his career as an assistant lecturer at the Federal Polytechnic, Bida in 1980 where he taught civil engineering, in 1986 he was a senior hydrologist and field coordinator for the rural water supply project (China-Nigeria agreement programme) for Chad Basin and rural development authority, Maiduguri, Borno State. He was a principal hydrologist in the water development section from 1986 to 1990. He also worked with the World Bank as a water development specialist from 1990 to 1993. He is presently the Managing Director of Bahago Services. He has been nominated for several awards and honorary titles.
