Dr. James Gaffney

The most profound may be my new found appreciation for having the right people by my side." - Dr. Luckey Dr. James Gaffney received his undergraduate degree from Nazareth while playing Division II Soccer and Lacrosse in 2013. Then received his Doctorate from Northeastern College of Health Sciences in 2018. Dr. James joined our team in 2018 and swiftly advanced to become our primary clinician alongside Dr. Luckey administering care for cases seen on the neurological side of the practice. Dr. Gaffney is a gifted clinician with focus on mTBI and the deleterious impact on athlete performance. He is currently pursuing post-doctoral training in Functional Neurology and enjoys the clinical challenge that comes with caring for patients recovering from brain-related injury.

Dr. Michael Fink

Dr. Mike Fink received his undergraduate degree from Houghton College in 2009 and his Doctorate from Northeastern College of Health Sciences in 2012. Dr. Mike joined our team in 2013 and has become an invaluable asset. He coordinates operations pertinent to and encompassing the musculoskeletal care delivered at PPC. He is a senior lead clinician with focuses on pediatric care; sports rehabilitation; injury prevention; and performance optimization. He is currently pursuing post-doctoral training in Functional Neurology and enjoys the creative approach a neurological lens affords. Dr. Mike is active in bridging professional gaps in care for the pediatric athlete through evidence-based education and collaboration.

Dr. Robert Luckey

Dr. Robert Luckey received his undergraduate degree from Houghton College in 2000 and his Doctorate from Northeastern College of Health Sciences in 2005. He developed particular interest in the field of Functional Neurology after enjoying proximity and mentorship from one of the team clinicians for the Fiorintina Soccer Club (Italian National Soccer Team). Exposure to this model activated a shift in his approach to care / triggered further post-doctoral training in Clinical Neuroscience / and inspired the launch of Pittsford Performance Care. Dr. Luckey's clinical focus has become complicated musculoskeletal cases, mTBI, chronic migraines, and vestibulopathies.
