In 1927, then named Philippine Bed Factory was established by Santos Chua Haw Ko. Recognizing the increasing demands for affordable high quality mattresses, they seized the opportunity and thus had risen from humble origins to immense growth and success. In 1968, the company was renamed to Philippine Bed as the brand name of its beds... Along the way, an office and a factory was first built in Rizal alongside a showroom. The company's growth led them to relocate to Balintawak to accommodate the demand. In 2009, the company brought King Koil to the Philippines, the only luxury innerspring mattress fully endorsed by the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research (FCER). In turn, the office and factory moved to Valenzuela where it currently stands. To this day, Philippine Bed aims to be the leading manufacturer of quality beds, bed accessories, bedroom linens and household furniture products for both retail and institutional markets in the Philippines...
