Amber is always eager to help out where she can. She got the boat for her 3rd birthday.
Andrew is an owner of Taġiuk Gold, LLC and the general manager. He's been called an offshore Nome mining expert, and has twelve years experience mining offshore Nome with a variety of methods. He started with a diver controlled 8" suction dredge in 2006, early success lead to the addition of a second unit in 2008. After 6 years of operating and managing 6-inch, 8-inch, and 10-inch dredges, Andrew was recruited to become an operating partner in the largest Gold mining suction dredge in the United States an 18-inch remote operated seafloor crawler. Now, Andrew is the designer and project manager of the mining vessel TAGIUK PROVIDER.
Becki came to Alaska to teach 7-12th grade math in the village of St Mary's, Alaska near Nome. She has a bachelors in Accounting and a Masters in Teaching. Becki runs the gold room.
Dan is as a professional videographer by trade, and has a variety of useful skills and experience that come in handy on a gold mining operation. He mined with Andrew offshore Nome for the first five years; starting soon after his time as an active duty US Marine, where he achieved the rank of E-5.
Spike Jardel is the lead welder and crew chief. His Air Force career encompassed a diverse collection of skills, including; aircraft maintenance, quality assurance, logistics management, Branch Chief, Production Superintendent, project management, and air crew. After 22 years, he retired with the rank of E-8. Spike attended Missouri Welding Institute, receiving certifications in both structural and pipe welding. His new skills have taken him to Prudhoe Bay, Fairbanks, Anchorage, and Valdez Alaska. Spike has eight years mining experience.
Steve is the lead mechanic and responsible for the operation and preventative and corrective maintenance on all engines, machinery, electronics, electrical, and plumbing systems on the barge and supporting vessels. He retired from the US Navy after more than 20 years including service in Submarines and the Surface fleet. Steve is an ABYC Certified Master Technician.
