Ankush Bassi

Ankush Bassi is a partner for Post Lake Capital Partners, acting as a valuation and advisory consultant. He devoted 15 years and currently serves as Newmark's senior managing director of financial services in Texas. He specializes in quantitative analyses pertaining to commercial real estate leasing and investments and has been involved with analyzing more than $5 billion worth of real estate transactions in his career. Bassi was part of the core team, responsible for growing the brand throughout the state and has overseen Newmark operations in Dallas, Austin, and Houston since 2015. His extensive experience includes conducting financial due diligence, valuation, and financial structuring for various asset types on behalf of owners, investors, lenders, and tenants, totaling more than 20 million square feet. Bassi has been a part of many sale/disposition transactions concerning apartment buildings, retail shopping centers, and office buildings. He also has four years of commercial architectural experience in India and the Middle East, including on-site work at Dubai's Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world.

Eva Horton

Eva Horton, partner for Post Lake Capital Partners, is responsible for investment sales, private investors, and special asset servicing entities. She joined Newmark's Atlanta office in 2008, and she currently serves as a managing director in Texas, as part of the firm's capital markets group. In addition, Horton works closely with clients on new land development and mixed-use projects, as well as adaptive reuse opportunities. Horton began her career in 1993, with J.E. Robert Companies/Goldman Sachs, JV, in Dallas, Texas, focusing on the liquidation of the RTC portfolio and the disposition of REO properties. In 1995, she was recruited to manage the commercial department of a lawyer's title subsidiary company and directed the expansion of eight additional offices within two years. Her experience included working with retail and office developers and income-producing properties, such as retail, office, hotels, and special-use projects. Her unique method of working closely with the development process, entitlement details, and overall obstacles within a transaction created long-lasting relationships with local and national developers of all sizes.

Greg Marconi

Greg Marconi is a partner for Post Lake Capital Partners, primarily responsible for acquisitions and development. Prior to forming Post Lake Capital Partners, Marconi spent the previous 10 years as a consultant with the global real estate firm Newmark. After the merger between Newmark and the investment bank Cantor Fitzgerald, he expanded his platform with real estate investment banking and debt and equity capabilities. During his tenure, Marconi has consulted for large corporations, focusing on strategic planning, operational efficiencies, financial services, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and portfolio advisory. He brings his real estate and investment banking experience to Post Lake Capital Partners, helping investor clients meet their short- and long-term financial objectives.

Javier Rocha - Chief Legal Officer

Javier Rocha is the general counsel for Four Thirteen, LLC, a privately held company with subsidiaries in real estate development, environmental management, and entertainment. Prior, Rocha worked in a private practice and as general counsel for Wilks Brothers, LLC and Casey Development, Ltd. At the latter, he assisted in the development, construction, budgeting, operational execution, and asset acquisition of commercial real estate projects. As a native San Antonian, Rocha previously served as an associate municipal judge for the City of San Antonio and Bexar County's part-time magistrate.

Jay Rogers

Jay Rogers is a family office and investment professional with almost three decades in the financial services industry. Rogers is a guest lecturer at USC Marshall School of Business, as well, and provides expert witness services, including testimony for litigation involving securities and investment industry matters.

John Mapes

John Mapes created John Mapes Architects (JMA) so that he could better serve his clients. After 14 years with a large architecture firm, he felt that he had lost that personal touch. Lincoln Smith is the director of Post Lake Capital Partners. He is also the founder and managing principal of City Limits Partners, an Austin-based commercial real estate development company specializing in master-planned, mixed-use projects. He began his career at Noble Capital, in Austin, Texas, focusing on packaging institutional-grade residential mortgages to sell to the secondary markets. Smith then became vice president of capital markets and acquisition for an Austin-based private equity real estate firm, where he successfully led the acquisition, development, and financing of 3 million square feet of assets, ranging from multifamily and master-planned communities to offices and industrial. Through his leadership, attention-to-detail, and creativity, Smith has been able to successfully execute the projects he leads, implement solutions to complex developments, and maximize returns.

Neal Golden - CEO

Neal Golden is managing partner for Post Lake Capital Partners, as well as the current vice chairman for Newmark. He joined Newmark to lead the company's national expansion in 2002, growing the brand and overseeing operations in Dallas, Austin, and Houston from 2015-2020. Ross Perlman

In addition, he has significant experience in the retail and hospitality sector, assisting various global brands with expansion planning and the repositioning of their assets.
