PROGRESS RANCH

Progress Ranch is a nonprofit public benefit, 501(c)(3) agency. We are licensed by the State of California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division... Operating since 1976, Progress Ranch is a Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) providing services to boys, ages 6-14, who are unable to function in a normal home environment. We have two homes (6 beds each) located in residential neighborhoods in Davis, California... We specialize in treating young male children who have experienced trauma and attachment disruption. Our purpose is to help them gain emotional and cognitive insights and skills with the goal of being able to function within a family environment. We also want them to develop an optimistic and hopeful outlook on life. The philosophy of Progress Ranch rests on a bedrock of warm, trusting relationships; individualized treatment protocols; and active engagement with the community.
