Hello all!! My name is Atsushi Osawa (he/him). I am a second-year student majoring in Ocean/Atmospheric Science at Scripps and Applied Mathematics at Muir College. Having been a member of the Interact Club (also affiliated with Rotary) back in high school, I joined the Rotaract club during my first year here. I have loved how this club has offered me opportunities to serve the local San Diego community and meet wonderful people with similar interests and passions, both inside and outside of the club. Whenever I have free time, I love exploring/traveling around various places, trying out ethnic foods, and spending time with friends. Come join us in our weekly GBM!!
Hello, my name is Brandon Reponte (he/him) and I am a third year Computer Science major in Sixth College. I had done a brief year in Interact (the high school branch of Rotary) and decided to join Rotaract in my second year, and since then I have done my best to attend every service. I really do enjoy contributing to my community and do believe that we should "leave this world a little better than you found it", and Rotaract has helped be do so with their diverse opportunities to serve. Some hobbies of mine are running, consuming fiction (anime/manga/movies/books/etc.), and learning (that includes school).
Hello everyone! My name is Carlos Leal, and I am one of the Co-Membership Directors for this school year alongside Chayla! For the 2023-2024 school year, I will be a senior aiming to finish my Applied Math major and Music minor in Thurgood Marshall College. I joined Rotaract my Sophomore year, and I have stayed because of the wonderful people I have met here and the choices in service events our past directors have brought to us. Service clubs are a great way to really learn about and engage with whatever community you are in, and I feel that this club has found a good stride in terms of accessibility for members and impactful service (shoutouts to OVGG).
Hi y'all! My name is Chayla Venzon (she/her), this year's Co-Membership Director! I am a 3rd year Literature/Writing major with a Law & Society minor at Eleanor Roosevelt College pursuing as many passions as I can including, but not limited to, event planning, public interest law, community service, digital art, reading, and writing! I joined Rotaract in my first year after I heard about the organization through tabling. This club has given me the opportunity to positively impact the San Diego community while connecting with such welcoming, funny, and kind people.
Hello! My name is Emily (she/her). I'm a fourth year Data Science major at Warren College! I will be serving as this year's Vice President. I'm also the District Representative for District 5340! I've been in the organization since I was in Interact, and I'm so excited to continue through Rotaract. In my free time, I enjoy music, dancing, swimming, playing games, baking, and hiking!
Hello! My name is Eric De Haas (he/him). I am a third year International Business major with a minor in Spanish Language Studies at Eleanor Roosevelt College (I am also an RA at ERC, if you wanna stop by Africa Hall!). I have been with Rotaract since my first year and Rotaract board since my second year, and I am very excited to be the President of Rotaract Club for the academic year of 2023-2024. I also serve as Director of Service for District 5340 Rotaract. I am not a San Diego native, so being in Rotaract has given me the opportunity to learn more about the community that I hope to call home. I love being able to meet new people and volunteer at new places. In my free time, I love reading about history and foreign languages, and I absolutely love going on hikes in the great outdoors! I'm excited to meet you at any of our events!
Hi everyone! My name is Karla Garcia (she/her) and I am a 3rd year student majoring in Public Health at Muir College. I have been a member of Rotaract since the beginning of my 2nd year. This club has provided me with the chance to meet new people and form friendships with members of the club. I would say my favorite events with Rotaract would have to be the service events because I get to learn more about San Diego, work with club members, and help the community! Aside from Rotaract, I am a part of the Student Health Advocates.

I love being able to serve the community with such wonderful people! I enjoy cars and vlogging. Alongside Rotaract, I'm a part of the Food Cooperative on campus and Triton Auto!
Hi! My name is Suhani (she/her) and I'm a second-year Data Science Major in ERC. I joined Rotaract at the start of my first-year and loved the sense of community both within the club and that which we share with other clubs and organizations all over SD. I love attending service and always looks forward to spending time with everyone! I look forward to another great year of service! Outside of Rotaract I'm involved in Triton Racing and ACM. I also enjoy reading, hiking, and finding new places to eat in SD :)
Hi y'all my name is Tessa (she/her) & I'm so excited to be serving as Rotaract's treasurer once more! I'm a 4th year in Muir college, majoring in general biology. This club has given me so many opportunities to give back to the community while also making great memories and friends along the way and I'm hoping Rotaract gives y'all the same opportunities! Outside of school, I enjoy watching baseball, specifically the Dodgers, finding new places to eat, and napping. I can't wait to make more memories with y'all!
Wasinee Nugsiang Secretary Hi I'm Wasi (she/her) and I am your 2023-24 Secretary❗I'm a 2nd-year in the Thurgood Marshall College family. I'm a movie lover , really love watching movies, I watch any kind of movie that's hard to predict what's going to happen next, most likely to be scary movies. I love hanging out with friends, going to the beach ️, go to SD downtown to eat. I love to play badminton although I don't know any rules of it. Recently I started to play Pool for the first time with my friends and I like it, if you're interested I'm looking for someone who can practice with me. Rotaract Club is not only about community services, you'll get to know and have fun with new friends/family. Rotaract provides an opportunity for you to build your professional skills such as communication, networking, creativity, teamwork, and leadership, including any of your personal skills, etc . So how did I join UCSD Rotaract? I used to be a board member of Interact Club in High school. I love to help and spread love to communities since young. Once I knew that UCSD has Rotaract I just join right away. The first time went to General Body Meeting(GBM), I was so nervous to join Rotaract club as a First-year and by Myself, so I went 30 mins early, but I met a few board members that came early and they were very friendly, open-minded, I felt like it's a family.
