Science and Engineering Leaders of the Future seeks to inspire Science and Engineering minded individuals to pursue Political and Government Leadership careers. For too long Congress and all government leadership positions have been filled almost entirely by people with Legal or Business backgrounds. As technology advances and current and unforeseen problems arise often science offers the best solutions. By helping encourage Scientist and Engineers to be more involved in the lawmaking and governing process at all levels of government, not only will the science community be better represented, but science can play a larger role in solving current and future problems
