A graduate of South Kitsap High School, Kevin joined Shiers Law Firm in September 2018 upon moving back to Kitsap County after practicing law in Hawaii. During his time in Hawaii, Kevin clerked for Hon. Lisa M. Ginoza, State of Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals and was an Associate at Chun Kerr LLP.
While at the University of Washington School of Law, Kevin served as Managing Editor of the Washington Law Review. He also interned with the University of Washington Student Legal Services and externed for Hon. Charles K. Wiggins, Washington Supreme Court, and Hon. Steven C. Gonzalez, King County Superior Court.
Kim was admitted to practice law in 1992 and became a partner in the Shiers Law Firm in 1998. Kim is one of the co-managing partners of the Firm.
Matthew G. Holyoak graduated from Brigham Young University in 2003 with a B.S. in mechanical engineering. He received his J.D from the University of Houston in 2006 where he served as the articles editor for the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal. Matt moved back to his home state of Washington in 2006 where he worked as an associate attorney at the law firm Lineberry Kenney, PLLC in Poulsbo until joining the Shiers Law Firm in April of 2010.
Ryan J. Jones graduated from the University of Washington in 2012 with a B.A. in Communication. He received his J.D. from the University of Idaho College Of Law in 2015 where he spent his summers gaining criminal trial experience as an intern with the Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. During his last semester in law school Ryan also externed as associate counsel to the Governor of Idaho where he drafted and presented a bill before the Idaho Legislature.
Ryan moved back to his home state of Washington in 2015 where he began working as a deputy prosecuting attorney in the civil division for the Kitsap County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, until joining the Shiers Law Firm in March of 2016. He became a partner in the Shiers Law Firm in 2019.
