ORDER OF ST JOHN

When the Priory of Scotland of the Order of St John was established in 1947, its founding members were committed to providing services that would make a real difference to people in Scotland. Seventy-five years on, St John Scotland continues to fulfil that aim, with our volunteers across the country serving their communities, improving health and saving lives... St John Scotland was formed in 1947 to improve the health of people in Scotland,and since our beginning, we have grown and responded to the changing needs of communities across Scotland... This website is the culmination of a project undertaken to capture the 75-year history of the charitable work of St John Scotland.
