Carie Watson

Carie ensures that our office operates efficiently. She has over a decade of experience working closely with wrongfully terminated employees. Her favorite aspect of working at Smith Riddles LLP is her interaction and relationships with our clients. Carie works closely with our attorneys and has effectively assisted in representing clients in mediation, including participating in negotiation strategy, conducting damages analyses, educating clients before and during mediation, and persuading mediators to see our clients' positions on important legal/factual issues. Carie is an avid reader/book hoarder. She also enjoys hiking, live music, her rescue dogs, and spending time with her family.

Danielle N. Riddles

Danielle began working for civil litigation firms during law school. After graduation and admission to the Bar, she worked as an attorney for a civil litigation firm and then as counsel representing public employees in investigations and adverse employment actions. Knowing she wanted to practice employment litigation, Danielle joined Barritt Smith Miner LLP, where she worked for five years before partnering with founding partner Perry G. Smith to form Smith Riddles LLP. She continues to represent clients in discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, harassment, and unpaid wage actions. Danielle is dedicated to the relentless pursuit of justice for our clients. Danielle obtained her law degree with distinction from McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, where she was a Teacher's Assistant, placed in the "Elite Eight" in an oral advocacy competition, was a finalist in a mock trial competition, and received multiple awards for course performance.
