Dr. Christine Linehan

Christine is an inaugural member of the Board of Directors since June 2019; appointed Board Secretary with the resignation of Dan Cooney from the Board in November 2021 Christine is Director of the UCD Centre for Disability Studies and an Associate Professor with the UCD School of Psychology at University College Dublin. Before moving to UCD, Christine was an Associate Professor at Trinity College Dublin and a Senior Research Officer at the National Disability Authority, the statutory body that advise the Irish Government on disability issues. Christine's research areas include intellectual disability, epilepsy, and disability policy.

Ilaria Dondero

Ilaria joined the Board in September 2022. With a background in Law and Human Resource Management, Ilaria specialises in Business Communications and Professional Development strategies, working in Further Education & Training, collaborating with academic institutions and corporate clients. As Career Coach Ilaria offers coaching services across a variety of industries in Ireland and abroad. Her work focuses on career transition and change management to confidently navigate through times of uncertainty. Ilaria holds a Master's Degree in Law (University of Genoa), Higher Diploma in Business (DBS) and is a Certified Master Coach Practitioner (PSG).

Liam Quinn

Liam is an inaugural Director of St. Margaret's IRL-IASD Board since June 2019. Liam is CEO of Northdoc Medical Services CLG, a Social Enterprise company. He was a founding Board Member and Chair of the Peter McVerry Trust and brings his knowledge and experience in board governance and oversight to St. Margaret's. In his leadership role as CEO of Northdoc Medical Services CLG who provide Urgent GP care in their D Doc and E Doc services across Dublin City and county, Liam's expertise is in managing complex public funded healthcare service where he has led on service development and mergers in recent years.

Mary Hanlon

Mary is an inaugural member of the Board of Directors since June 2019 and its first Chairperson. Mary is a parent of a young man with autism, who has a lifetime experience of accessing various services, now an adult living in community. Having studied at Maynooth University, Mary has over 35 years' experience is in Community Development with Dublin City Council where her leadership roles included implementing strategies in developing integrated services within the local communities and in particular developing services for older persons within those communities. This involved liaising with a wide range of agencies and voluntary groups, empowering people to engage in developing a meaningful sense of community ownership.

Rona Bowe

Rona joined the Board in November 2021. Rona is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, having trained with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. She has over 25 years of leadership experience in Operations and Finance, including 22 years in the ICT sector with Microsoft Ireland. Rona is the Diversity & Inclusion Lead for Microsoft Ireland and was a finalist in the Women Mean Business Awards in 2019. Rona holds a B.Comm. Degree (UCC), M.Acc. (UCD) and a Professional Diploma in Corporate Governance, Risk and Compliance from UCC/ Irish Management Institute.

Ruaidhrí Giblin

Ruaidhrí has just joined the Board in August 2022. Ruaidhrí is a barrister-at-law and formerly a journalist who wrote extensively on legal affairs and social issues impacting the most vulnerable people in Ireland and the Middle East. He was a regular freelance contributor to RTÉ, The Irish Times and the Irish Independent before establishing a general practice at the Law Library.

Will Crean

Will is an inaugural member of the Board of Directors since June 2019. As a former member of the Board of Management with St Margaret's Donnybrook, Will was involved in supporting the transition of the service from the Religious Sisters of Charity to an independent Section 39 agency. As a Chartered Management Accountant and Entrepreneur for more than 35 years Will's experience spans Industry, Manufacturing, Distribution, Accounting practice, Tech Start-ups and Software and the commercial sector. Will has been involved in the Disability Sector since 2006.
