Chris Idema is a Rotterdam-based architect and maker. Inspired by humor, the built environment and the randomness of everyday life, his work is based on a long practice of live sketching his surroundings through bold black lines and the interest in craft. Explorative with his technique, he recently began mesh-printing art prints created from experimenting with combinations of hand drawings, 3D modeling and digital illustration. Through this process, he introduces color into his work, which serves to emphasize the highly contrasting elements of his work
