Amina Fisher

Amina Fisher is a strategic and creative marketer with extensive management and consulting experience. As Vice President, Client Services at Walk West, a full-service marketing agency in North Carolina, she leverages her experience to build trusting client relationships and showcase brands in their most flattering light. Amina leads a strategic account team in the development of holistic programs that drive top line revenue and deliver remarkable consumer experiences. With a client list ranging from financial institutions to consumer-packaged goods, she leads her team in the development of cross-industry marketing campaigns that cut through the noise. Over ten years at Diageo North America working on brands like Johnnie Walker, Guinness, and Captain Morgan helped her understand the fundamentals of brand building and innovation. Another six years working for agencies like Edelman Public Relations, Colangelo Synergy Marketing and CYLNDR with clients such as Vulcan, Church & Dwight and Samsung have rounded out her ability to tap into the customer mindset and build advertising campaigns that excite and inspire. Amina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Berkeley College in New York City.

Annie Lindekugel

Annie Lindekugel is Executive Director of the Community Services Network, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit subsidiary of The DPI Group. Annie has experience in social justice, education, and entrepreneurship. Under her guidance, the CSN has grown to over 40 partnering agencies from the Portland nonprofit community.

Bart Berry

Bart Berry oversees DPI Staffing, The DPI Group's staffing company, which has expanded to operate in seven states. Bart has more than 20 years of experience in the staffing industry, and brings a proven record of leadership and results. Bart began his management career in 1998, holding leadership roles with some of the largest staffing companies in the world. His expertise in staffing solutions coupled with his experience and customer-centric leadership style make him a great fit for DPI. Bart shares his knowledge in many staffing specialty areas, such as light industrial, clerical, accounting, finance, technical, engineering and professional skill sets. He prides himself on building great teams.

Debra Houston

Deb Houston, President of Northwest Success, has worked in the janitorial industry for 35 years. She started out as a Janitorial Supervisor at Portland Habilitation Center (PHC Northwest), a nonprofit that employs and trains individuals with disabilities. Deb quickly moved up to Vice President of Building Maintenance overseeing the janitorial, landscape services and housing divisions. She has been involved in negotiations with multi-million dollar janitorial contracts, bringing revenue from less than $1 million annually to more than $10 million. Deb's strengths lie in setting up strong, successful teams that have won many outstanding awards, and her work has added more than 700 jobs for individuals with disabilities. She excels at problem solving in all areas of business.

Dennis Doherty

Dennis Doherty is a longtime supporter of The DPI Group, and rejoined its Board in 2017. Dennis was born and raised in Portland and served in the U.S. Air Force for four years during the Vietnam War. He spent much of his career at Beecher Carlson, an insurance and risk management brokerage, rising to Managing Director of the Nonprofit Division. He's served on the National Advisory Councils of a number of insurance companies, and earned awards such as Beecher Carlson's national "Revolutionary Performance Award" and Risk & Insurance Magazine's "National Power Broker Award." Dennis has spent 20 years as a member of the Board of De Paul Treatment Centers, and served as its Chair. He's also served on the Board of the Portland Opera and the Arlington Club.

Harmony Redmond

Harmony Redmond runs The DPI Group's employment program for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, Meadowlark Employment Services. She works with individuals with disabilities, their families, state and county agencies and employers to help secure employment. Harmony has more than 10 years of experience in the field of disability employment. She first joined DPI in 2006 as the Assistant Manager of Unified Workforce, a prior incarnation of DPI's current program. Harmony helped to oversee the transition from a sheltered workshop to a program licensed by the State of Oregon to provide a variety of services. Harmony has completed dozens of trainings related to the employment of people with disabilities. She holds a bachelors in human development and social sciences from Washington State University.

Home Kelly

Kelly heads up LeadToResults, LLC, a management consultancy focused on new business development. Formerly, Kelly was the Director of Worldwide Sales Programs for Autodesk. He brings over 30 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership for technology products and services, both within large companies (Intel, Tektronix, Mentor Graphics and Autodesk) and small startup environments, for- and non-profit corporations, and regional economic development organizations who seek new sales and marketing traction with new products or to enter new markets. Kelly's contributions in strategic and tactical business development include coaching, opportunity research and assessment, branding and messaging, and customer-focused marketing communications at multiple stages of a product's or business' life-cycle.

Jim Kehoe

Jim Kehoe has been the owner and manager of Portland Millwork, Inc. since 1997. He has served on the board for several building-related associations, including Homebuilders Association of Metropolitan Portland and the local chapter of the American Institute of Building Design. Jim is a past president of The DPI Group's Board.

Kevin White

Kevin White is Chief Executive Officer for North Pacific Management. He has spent over twenty years helping the Stevenson family build and develop its hospitality and real estate company. Since joining North Pacific Management as controller of the Heathman Hotel in 1985, Kevin has stimulated substantial growth and diversification. The board promoted him from Chief Financial Officer to Chief Executive Officer in 2000. Kevin graduated from Pacific University with a bachelor's degree in business and economics.

Larry Welty

Larry Welty runs The DPI Group's security company, which has locations in Portland, Salem and Eugene, Oregon. During 10 years with DPI, Larry has shared his law enforcement expertise and helped to expand DPI Security's variety of offerings. Larry joined DPI in 2009 as a Security Supervisor in Salem. He rose through the ranks to manage DPI's security operations in Salem and Eugene, and in 2015 was promoted to General Manager for security, where he is responsible for overseeing three offices in Oregon and more than $7 million in annual revenue. Larry retired from the Oregon State Police after 26 years of service. He spent the majority of his career in the Criminal Division/Drug Enforcement Section; at the time of his retirement, he was Acting Commander of the Drug Enforcement Section responsible for all operations in the state. During his career, he conducted hundreds of criminal investigations of major narcotics organizations in the United States and Mexico. Larry has completed thousands of hours of training in intelligence gathering and security operations.

Rebecca DeBo

Rebecca DeBo has over 20 years of dedicated experience fundraising for mission-driven organizations including art institutions, child advocacy groups, public universities, and academic medical centers. She values the important work of non-profit institutions and has witnessed the impact of philanthropy and its powerful influence on individuals and communities. Rebecca served on leadership teams at the University of Utah and Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) during their respective and equally successful $2B fundraising campaigns. Additionally, she helped design and implement the first comprehensive grateful patient programs at both universities while inspiring diverse and talented teams. Rebecca has a BA and an MPA from the University of Utah.

Silvia Dorado

Silvia Dorado is an associate professor of management at the University of Rhode Island and visiting professor at the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Her research addresses such topics as the development of socioeconomic hybrid organizations and institutional entrepreneurship. Silvia received her B.A. degree from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain, her M.A. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and her Ph.D. from McGill University. She has published in some of the top journals in management, such as the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, and Organization Studies-including a paper profiling DePaul Industries in the Journal of Social Entrepreneurship. Prior to her academic career, Dr. Dorado worked for Andersen Consulting, the Latino Economic Development Center (University of Massachusetts, Boston) and the World Bank.

Steven Joshua Samuel

Steven Joshua Samuel is Of Counsel to Samuel Sayward & Baler LLC and the founder of the firm. Steve has been a practicing attorney in Massachusetts since 1977. He is a trusted advisor and fiduciary to many families, helping his clients improve their decision-making on a wide range of estate planning, personal, family and business issues. From 1995-2002, Steve created and managed a national network of estate planning attorneys that successfully delivered comprehensive estate planning and financial services to several thousand families in cooperation with a major national financial services firm. From 2003-2020, Steve established and managed Samuel Financial LLC, a wealth management firm serving more than 300 families and 60 businesses. Steve holds a J.D. and MBA from Columbia University. He serves on a variety of Boards, including the Foundation on Economic Trends and the Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action Advisory Board.

Tom Horey - CFO

Tom Horey joined The DPI Group in 2014 to lead its accounting department, and has more than 30 years of executive and financial management experience. Tom has demonstrated success in areas like financial management, strategic planning and debt acquisition in a variety of industries. Tom also has significant entrepreneurial experience, having founded and run two start-up companies. Tom spent 15 years as CFO of Plaid Pantries, a retail company with 102 locations, 800 employees and $120 million in annual revenue. He also founded and organized Oregon Acres, a wholesale nursery company with locations in Oregon and Utah. Tom holds an MBA from the University of Utah.

Travis Pearson - CEO, President

Travis Pearson joined The DPI Group in 2004 and is the organization's President & CEO. During his tenure with DPI, Travis has been integral in growing DPI's businesses and mission, and has helped to expand DPI's footprint. Having joined DPI in 2004 as an Employment Specialist, Travis has held leadership roles in nearly every branch of the organization. Under his leadership, the security division grew from providing services solely to the public sector to a diversified business with private sector clients in various industries. Travis is a veteran of the US Marine Corps and has a background in intelligence and security; he worked for various federal agencies during his time in the service as a security and intelligence analyst. Travis is a graduate of American Military University and earned an MBA from Washington State University. He is active in a variety of nonprofit, social enterprise and food processing organizations, and has presented at the Alternative Staffing Alliance and SourceAmerica national conferences. Travis' professional accomplishments and community service led him to be named one of the Portland Business Journal's Forty Under 40 in 2016.
