CALMING NUMBER

The Calming Number started off as a simple spreadsheet on Microsoft Excel. Our founder, Reynaldo (Tony) would take his time creating budgets for his and his wife's finances. When they set out to buy their first house, Tony decided to make a completely detailed budget calculating exactly how they would reach their financial goals for the purchase within one year. In doing so, Tony mapped out exactly when each bill was going to be charged and how much money they would have left afterwards. You may wonder, so where does the Calming Account come from? Well, the funny truth is, sometimes, people forget what bills need to be paid with that paycheck and they overspend. To solve this, Tony had them create a Joint Account where all the bills would be paid from and their money would be saved. This way, whatever was not in this account was free game.
