It is time for America to lead again in the area of mobility. New Urbanism needs to be integrated with quality open spaces to facilitate natural and human ecosystems. In our fractured society, this project is designed to unify and lead to societal progress, much like the Civilian Conservation Corps once did - it is nonpolitical in nature. The well contrived focus of this effort includes trenched (cut) and cover mobility systems surrounded by a corridor accommodating all functional modes. Southeast Florida's unique geomorphology and settlement pattern present a perfect palette for the improvements developed in this enterprise - which in the future could be exported to other regions and countries.
