Many ask what the name means. It is a triple entendre. HCL because its founder is hydrochloric acid in the courtroom (and a nerd). Honor and Coin because the sale of honor has continued in the legal profession for long enough. (And irony is the last humor of humility.) Finally, HCL is developing a crypto backed coin to better enable multijurisdictional practice within the U.S. (i.e., avoid discovery abuses by tracking the trustworthiness of all registered attorneys)... HCL's mission is to provide the best possible resolution for any problem or dispute. Some services, like technical writing, are flat fee and unbundled, whereas litigation is usually full scope hourly... Community Adaptation is a place where communities learn to adapt by identifying and mitigating risk.
