THUNDERBIRD SNOWSPORTS

A lifelong skier, I set off on a journey to build home-made ski gear for fun with my friend. We enthusiastically fitted out our production workshop, located in Ballston Lake, NY, where I fell in love with creating my own rides. We started building skis and snowboards for sale in 2000 under the name of Free Bird Customs, however, my friend has since moved on to other pursuits. After renaming the company to Thunderbird Snowsports in 2021, inspired by the location of my workshop, I continue to enjoy the craft and look forward to making you a ski or snowboard you'll love!... My mission is to proudly design and hand-build unique skis and snowboards that provide you with the best runs you've ever had, and look just as good hanging on the wall!
