VIRTUAL REALITY MINDSET

My name is Todd Turner and I'm the owner of Virtual Reality Mindset, your one stop site for everything in Virtual Reality. From ideas, to product reviews, this site is a place to help you learn about and build the best virtual reality experience possible... My interest in Virtual Reality really started back in 1993. As a Lieutenant in the U.S. Coast Guard, I received orders to be the next Commanding Officer (CO) of the MATAGORDA. More precisely, the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter MATAGORDA, a 110ft patrol boat, that was homeported in Miami, FL... As part of my CO "pipeline" training for this assignment, I attended a prospective CO course. The course was created and hosted by instructors at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy (CGA); my alma mater 86'. During the course we refreshed on many topics ranging from the "Rules of the Road" for preventing collisions at sea, to case studies on good and bad small unit leadership, to specifics of maritime law… AND we were able to "play" with a ship simulator!
