The prevalence of junk food and fried snacks has dimmed the light on healthy snacks. Regardless of age, everyone consumes large quantities of junk food that damages their health. Viya foods began in 1979 as a cottage business and have now expanded to a large group of women workers who specialise in traditional snacks. The recipe for Viya foods has been handed down from ancestors.
