WeBuildAlaska is a comprehensive effort to inspire and motivate new people to join the construction industry in Alaska. Our primary goal is to create a bridge to connect potential construction workers with apprenticeship and training programs, providing them with the resources and information they need to get started. With the help of AGC of Alaska, the CIPF Fund and its efforts to create the WeBuildAlaska campaign - everyone has the opportunity to make a career in the Alaska Construction industry... WeBuildAlaska is a collaborative campaign made possible by Associated General Contractors of Alaska (AGC) and the Construction Industry Progress Fund (CIPF)... So, where's the disconnect? The problem lies in people's perception of the industry. We have to change hearts and minds - WeBuildAlaska aims to redefine our industry; we have to re-educate Alaskans, and invest in our own legacy so that future generations aspire to be tradespeople and contributing members to the Alaska Construction..
