Having been an engineer for almost a decade designing automation equipment, evaluating and testing consumer products for UL, and helping develop the superconducting radio frequency cavities and liquid helium cryogenic plant for the NSLS-II project at Brookhaven National Laboratory, Bill is intimately familiar with how a client's business goals intersect with intellectual property law. Bill leverages his experience to understand each client's individual challenges and business goals to provide tailored, individualized advice regarding intellectual property issues. With extensive experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications in myriad technological areas, Bill counsels clients through the process of obtaining intellectual property protection both in the U.S. and abroad. Bill also conducts validity studies, clearance searches, patentability searches, and provides opinions regarding various intellectual property issues. Seth Cannon is an expert in all phases of both U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, and his practice focuses on strategic IP portfolio development for companies of all sizes. Mr. Cannon also works with clients in a wide range of technical areas, including mechanical and electromechanical devices, medical devices, analog and digital electronics, control systems, digital signal processing, semiconductors, business methods, telecommunications, optics, and nanotechnology. In addition to conducting due diligence investigations, validity studies, and clearance searches, he also has extensive experience in all aspects of patent and trade secret litigation.

Thomas Rosselli is experienced in all phases of patent prosecution and has an in-depth knowledge of multiple technologies in the medical arts. Mr. Rosselli works with clients who are primarily designing portfolios comprised of pharmaceuticals and medical devices, and he also has expertise in cosmetic formulations, organic chemistry and adhesives. His practice also includes conducting freedom to operate searches and analyses, as well as patentability studies.
