Mr. Dennis Wairimu

Dennis is a Geologist with over 6 years of practical experience in water resources investigations and management. He is specifically trained in modern Geotechnical investigation technology, geophysical survey techniques, and has extensive field experience that includes Geological logging, soil sampling, multi seismic channel analysis, hydrogeological/geophysical surveys, GIS handling, Geological Mapping and exploration.

Mr. James Kamenju

  • Senior Hydrogeologist
Kimenju is a holder of MSc in Water and Environmental Management with over 10 years' experience in Horn of Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Sudan and South Sudan) leading development and relief multi-sectoral and multi-million dollar funded programs and projects including Water, Environment and Natural Resource Management, Agriculture and Climate Change funded by ECHO, OFDA, UN OCHA, Italian Development Cooperation, AUSaid, Sida, DFID, FAO and UNICEF. He has been a consultant and expatriate working with private companies, International and local NGOs, demonstrating management flexibility and broad industry knowledge. Mr. Kamenju has also built his wide range of skills from trainings attended in Horn of Africa and Europe.

Mr. Peter Mutevu

Peter is a Community Development Specialist with over 25 years of experience. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration and Sociology. He holds a host of other professional training in Community-Based development and participatory methodologies. In addition, he has a wealth of experience in WASH, Health, Nutrition and livelihoods. His involvement in field surveys in Kenya, Southern Sudan, Rwanda and Somalia has given him a wealth of knowledge on local and regional situations, and a wide expertise on designing, analysis, implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, training and management of programs.

Mr. Vincent Okello

Job Titles:
  • Principal Consultant
Mr. Okello has been a Consulting Hydrogeologist for over 23 years and successfully carried out assignments in more than 6 countries (Kenya, Malawi, Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan, and Somalia). He has a MSc (Hydrogeology) and BSc(Geology) both from the University of Nairobi. He has attended trainings on groundwater modelling and GIS at the Institute of Meteorological Training and Research (IMTR) from September 2000 to January 2001. He also attended intensive training on use of GIS and remote sensing for water resources evaluation and management at the Department of Resource Survey and Remote Sensing (DRSRS) in Kenya from January to March 2001. Okello is a Professional Member of the Geological Society of Kenya (MGSK), Registered Geologist by the Geologists Registration Board, Kenya, Licensed Water Resource Professional (Hydrogeologist), Professional Member of the International Association of Hydrogeologists and Member of the Kenya DAAD Scholars Association (KDSA).

Mr. Vitalis Awuor

Vitalis has over 30 years' experience in hydrological water resources related investigations like dam development, hydro-power generation and water conservation and supply systems. The specific range of hydrological and water resources projects he has been involved in include: Hydrological assessment for surface and sub-surface dam design; assessment of runoff over heterogeneous catchments for rainwater harvesting and storage design; hydrological assessment for drainage major airports in Kenya; hydrological assessment for water supply design; and Assessment of yield and reliability of storages for projected demands placed on water supply projects.
