Greg Sloan, Esq. is co-founder of Beach Injury Lawyers, LLC. and focuses his practice primarily on representing victims of personal injury. He is an experienced trial lawyer with a track record of success trying cases to juries throughout the state of South Carolina. Indeed, of the 46 county courthouses in South Carolina, Greg has appeared in 34 of them.
Prior to moving to Myrtle Beach in 2021, Greg practiced with a leading multi-state defense firm where he represented defendants in tort and personal injury, commercial transportation, premises liability, and mass tort matters. During that time, he served as Corporate Class Counsel overseeing the administration of claims relating to one of the worst rail-related chemical spills in U.S. history. As a result, Greg possesses a unique understanding of how insurance companies value claims and he utilizes that knowledge and experience to benefit his clients.
Greg grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina but has spent his adult life in South Carolina. After receiving his B.A. at the University of South Carolina in 1987, Greg worked at the South Carolina Senate for the late Senator Isadore Lourie. Lourie, a champion of social and economic justice, encouraged Greg to attend law school. He followed his mentor's advice and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1996.
As a veteran trial lawyer, former Chief Municipal Judge and County Magistrate, there's not much Greg hasn't seen. However, the one case that stands out was when Greg successfully rescued an elderly lady's dog that had been captured by animal control officers and inadvertently placed on the list of animals to be euthanized. The pair were eventually reunited and in return, Greg received a tearful hug and a homemade blueberry pie. To this day, Greg considers it one of his proudest legal accomplishments.
Greg is the proud father of daughter, Claire, and son, Grayson. He is also active in promoting mental health awareness and serves on the South Carolina Advisory Council for Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness. In addition, Greg serves on the Horry County Bar Association Executive Board. Lastly, Greg is a certified mediator through the National Association of Certified Mediators.
Will Parker, Esq. has spent his entire career representing accident victims in South Carolina. When he was 14, Will and his father were hit head-on by a drunk driver. Tragically, Will's father did not survive, and Will spent almost a month in ICU with hospital bills totaling near $1 million. As a result, Will brings tremendous passion, understanding, and insight to his practice. After practicing at several notable South Carolina personal injury law firms, Will founded Will Parker Law, LLC in 2017. From the beginning, Will strove to define himself and his personal injury law firm by certain core values. These values include integrity, intelligence, passion, sincerity, and determination. In 2022, Will co-founded Beach Injury Lawyers, LLC with Greg Sloan.
Will grew up in Lugoff, South Carolina but the Grand Strand has been home since 2000. He received his B.A. from the University of South Carolina in 2000. Will attended law school at Western Michigan University in 2003; however, his love for South Carolina led him back to the Palmetto State. Will transferred to the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2004 and earned his Juris Doctorate in 2006.
Will is married to Dr. Erin Parker, a real estate agent, designer, and former lecturer in the Chemistry Program at Coastal Carolina University. Erin and Will reside in Myrtle Beach with their two young children and attend Seacoast Vineyard Church. Will serves on the Board of Sonshine Ministries and the Advisory Board of Miller-Motte Technical College.
