Research in the Social[Pixel] lab seeks to understand and address the consequences of global environmental change. We use data driven approaches to understand human environment change, and assess the potential for new technologies to help reduce risk with and for marginalized populations. Most of our research involves satellite imagery, media, and other data streams to quantify change. We love to develop and apply our science in partnership with NGOs, businesses, governments, and communities to scale their solutions and innovations to build a more socially just world.
