ARUNDEL CASTLE CRICKET CLUB - Key Persons

A. Jupp - Chairman

Job Titles:
  • Chairman
I grew up in Sussex in a cricketing family, often helping my mother with teas at our village cricket club and I worked at Lords during college vacations when my father was assistant secretary to Billy Griffith at the MCC. My father followed Billy Griffith as Chairman of Arundel and as a family we have many happy memories of the Friends of Arundel Castle Cricket Club. My early career was spent working in London and when I returned to work after having a family, I took over the role of regional manager for a national charity until retirement. I was elected to West Sussex County Council in 2009 representing the Billingshurst division and currently hold the post of lead member for Adults and Health. I enjoy all sports, in particular cricket, rugby, tennis and golf. Being invited to join the Board was a proud moment for me bearing in mind my father's long association with the club and I am honoured to be Chairman.
