Experienced Finance Director and accountant Alistair has applied his knowledge and skills throughout his career to develop and grow companies ranging from SMEs to large international PLCs.
Joining CTSL in 2022 and with a keen focus on profitability, Alistair develops financial strategies, systems and processes that create streamlined, successful businesses. Alistair is based at our Head Office in Preston, working alongside our Directors and senior team to further strengthen our CTSL Group Finance department and allow for long-term scalability, growth and new opportunities.
Joining the team in 2019 to extend our operations into a new area, Andrew manages CTSL Spill Specialists' clients and sites across the south of England, based at our Cambridgeshire depot in Ely.
Andrew has previously worked for two of the UK's largest specialist environmental claims management companies as a Project Manager and has travelled extensively throughout the UK, working from Newcastle and Edinburgh before settling in Cambridgeshire (albeit remaining loyal to his Newcastle roots!). Andrew is uniquely qualified to understand a claim from the homeowner's perspective, coming into the industry after suffering a significant kerosene spill at his own property.
Ann is responsible for the management of all accounts across CTSL's group of companies, including sales and purchase accounts, credit control, payroll and accounts reconciliation. Taking care to deliver positive customer experiences and continually evolving and innovating with technology, Ann is an excellent relationship builder who establishes robust systems to keep up with the pace of our business's development.
With over 20 years' experience in the contaminated land sector, and more than 15 years' hands-on expertise in environmental claims management, geologist Eve is a highly specialist and knowledgeable environmental consultant. Eve leads our CTSL Spill Specialists services.
From working on site to owning and managing his own building company, Iain enjoys over 30 years' experience in the building and construction industry.
With an HNC in Engineering, Iain manages the delivery of CTSL's environmental claims services for insurer and loss adjuster clients, including the development of new technologies and techniques as well as specialist remediation building work to ensure that properties are restored to an excellent standard. With professional advice and hands-on experience, Iain expertly and sympathetically remediates environmental incidents which have affected land and property.
Ian Hodge - Managing Director
Establishing CTSL in 2006 following a long involvement with his family business Ribble Fuels, Ian enjoys significant experience in fuel delivery and fuel storage solutions.
Increased demand for tank installation work led the business to grow, encompassing bespoke tank fabrication, installation and management and control system design. With established relationships and an excellent reputation, clients invited CTSL to undertake maintenance and clean-up work. Ian has since grown the business to incorporate Environmental Consultancy services through CTSL Spill Specialists in England, Scotland and Wales, and Gaea Environmental in Northern Ireland and ROI.

- Technical Project Manager
Opening our Barnsley depot when he joined CTSL in 2013, Melvin has worked in remediation for over 20 years and is our longest-serving regional manager.
Based out of our Barnsley depot and working nationally, and with practical, hands-on construction expertise, Melvin now oversees the delivery of CTSL's technical projects in the rollout of superfast fibre broadband throughout the UK.

- Project Manager - Preston & Lancashire
Environmental Scientist Michael manages our CTSL Spill Specialists projects in Lancashire and the North of England, based at our Leyland Head Office.
A keen lover of the outdoors, Michael joined CTSL with Geo-environmental Engineering project experience as well as a strong scientific background in geology and physical geography studies. Michael enjoys working with our clients and policyholders and is committed to service excellence and positive outcomes on all of his projects.

Working in the environmental claims sector for over 15 years, Owain is an experienced project manager in the handling of domestic and commercial environmental claims.
Supporting leading insurer and loss adjuster clients, and with a role encompassing site visits, costings, coordination and validation of works, Owain enjoys excellent relationships with occupiers and policyholders, ensuring that CTSL's high standards of service are maintained throughout a project.

- Projects Coordinator - CTSL Spill Specialists
Rosie joined CTSL in 2018 following a busy role in office management locally in Preston, and plays a central role in delivery of our remediation services.
Providing office-based support for site teams and Project Managers across all CTSL Spill Specialists depots, Rosie ensures teams have all the equipment and resource they need to complete each job, undertakes billing across all spill and remediation projects and contributes to the improvement and rollout of our communications and reporting systems to ensure projects run smoothly.
Joining CTSL in 2019, Head Office-based Simon enjoys a wealth of experience in the implementation and management of software systems for the construction industry.
Having an established relationship with CTSL for some time prior to his appointment, Simon now oversees the Group's finance, IT and digital systems including management reporting and KPIs, data protection and process improvement. Simon is particularly focused on connecting the business, helping our teams across the country communicate efficiently and effectively and helping the business grow through improved reporting visibility, system development and technology investment.
