Dr. Eric Dixon

Dr. Eric Dixon received his Doctor of Dental Science degree from University of Pacific, San Francisco, CA and completed his pediatric residency at UCLA. He currently serves on California Society of Pediatric Dentistry nominating committee, UCSD Share the Care Dental Advisory Board and is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UCSD. In spite of his busy schedule, Dr. Eric makes time to volunteer with International Health Emissaries to provide quality care to less fortunate children worldwide, having completed missions in Cambodia, Guatemala and Peru. When not in the office Dr. Eric spends time with his lovely wife, Dr. Stephanie Dixon, and his two young boys. Together the family enjoys travel, fishing, ocean kayaking, skateboarding and mountain biking.

Dr. Howard Dixon

Dr. Howard Dixon received his Doctor of Dental Science Degree and Masters in Clinical Dentistry from Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI. He founded San Diego Pediatric Dental Group in 1970. Pediatric Dentistry is his passion and he dedicates his time to staying on the forefront of the profession. Dr. Dixon is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has held numerous leadership positions in local and statewide dental associations. He actively volunteers with International Health Emissaries to provide quality dental care to less fortunate children worldwide, enjoys book clubs and traveling with his wife, Donna. He is the proud father of 5 children and grandfather of 11 grandchildren.

Dr. Kimberly Sauer

Dr. Kim Sauer received her Doctor of Dental Science Degree from University of Missouri, Kansas City. She is a Senior Staff member at Rady Children's Hospital and is proud to have served our country as a Dental Officer in the U.S. Navy. Dr. Sauer has been a part of the Dixon Dental Services family since 1996, and we are honored by her dedication to her patients. Dr. Sauer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. When not at work, she devotes her time to raising her five children, staying active with their interests and sports. When time allows, Dr. Sauer enjoys hiking, camping, and water sports.

Dr. Rachel T. Swimmer

Dr. Rachel T. Swimmer is so thankful and excited to be a part of the team here at San Diego Pediatric Dental Group! Dr. Rachel is a board certified pediatric dentist, a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and a member of the local San Diego Association of Pediatric Dentistry, a professional organization dedicated to high quality pediatric oral care through continuing education and outreach. Dr. Rachel wants to bring excitement to oral health and pediatric dentistry by creating relationships of mutual learning, trust, and respect with children and their families. Dr. Rachel was born in California, but grew up on the completely opposite coast in Flushing, Queens and Long Island, New York. For undergraduate study, she attended Duke University in North Carolina. Dr. Rachel went on to complete her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine in New Jersey and was inducted into the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Rachel also completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Rutgers where she served as Chief resident. Dr. Rachel and her husband feel so blessed to be expecting their first child this summer! In her spare time, Dr. Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and family, crocheting, reading, and binge-watching television shows!

Dr. Stephanie Dixon

Dr. Stephanie Dixon received both her Doctor of Dental Science Degree and her Certificate in Pediatric Dental Specialization from UCLA . She is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She and Dr. Eric Dixon are married and enjoy raising their family in San Diego. She loves taking her dog for walks, traveling, and stays fit by being "Mom" to her two boys. Whenever possible, Dr. Stephanie finds time to volunteer with International Health Emissaries to provide quality care to less fortunate children worldwide plus visit family and friends in Reno, NV.
