Welcome to Encore Custom Woodworks. My name is Justin Hageman, and my passion is creating and sharing new things. For the great majority of my life, I have been a musician and have had the great opportunity to perform and record music as both a professional French horn player and a pianist. I grew up in East Tennessee, and after receiving my undergraduate degree in Music Education at Tennessee Technological University, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my dream of working in the Hollywood studios. While completing my graduate degrees at UCLA, I began to work as a freelance horn player and over the course of several years, became very active in the studios as well as in the concert halls throughout Southern California. From 2004 to 2015, I worked on nearly 800 different recording sessions for movies, television shows, video games, records, and commercials. I also had the amazing opportunity to perform on live television on numerous occasions, including with the 2008 Academy Awards..
