MAGPIE COMMUNITY EVENTS

Magpie Community Events (MCE) is a non-profit, locally-led collaboration project geared towards building, and celebrating our diverse community of like-minded individuals that love and respect all walks of animal life. MCE's collective ambition is to generate revenue to distribute among fellow 501(c)(3) charities within each convention's annual congregation, and occasional semi-annual events... Our mission statement: progressive representation, advocacy, and respect of BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, and disabled communities, in addition to the welfare of animal lives... We are a modest group of folx involved in the fandom-most importantly, we're a progressive group of marginalized folx that are LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, BIPOC, and disabled. We also advocate for animal welfare.
