GRAF ENGINEERING - Key Persons

When not collaborating and designing with my other team members, I love to venture out in our great state. Whether it be hiking, biking, or skiing, you'll find me outdoors to experience this great state that I was born and raised in. I appreciate the opportunity to work with team members that share values of collaboration, ingenuity, and integrity. I especially love to engineer homes for people seeking their American dream. I am currently an Engineering Intern and working to become a fully licensed professional.

Job Titles:
  • Client Manager
I started down the path to engineering when my father established his own Geotechnical engineering services out of our garage. I was in grade school at the time, but would later work for him (in a new building) during my summers home from CU. Since then, my career in structural engineering with Terracon and CTL Thompson gave me over 20 years combined experience. I joined Graf in 2013, and it has been absolutely fulfilling. When I'm not designing custom houses or devising repairs for cut joists, I enjoy novice woodworking and multi-media art projects with my wife, brewing my own beer with friends, and practicing Tae Kwon-Do with the oldest of my two sons (we both just recently earned our black belts!).

Job Titles:

I am a Colorado native that is fortunate to grow up in a family that had me in the outdoors a lot. I have been working in the housing industry for more than 25 years. From delivering title documents, surveying houses & neighborhoods to looking for imperfections on residential construction. I really enjoy being in the field and not sitting behind a desk all day. When I'm not at a construction site I'm still outdoors enjoying hiking, skiing, canyoneering, and exploring & mapping caves. I also volunteer with the Colorado cave rescue network.

I moved to Colorado in 2004 from Mexico. I was in school on and off and I earned my Associate of Sciences back in 2010 from Community College of Denver and then started my path to engineering. I graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering technology. I joined the Graf Engineering team right before graduating and felt welcome since day one. I have a PTI certification. Being bilingual has made the consulting world a lot easier out in the field. I am passionate about engineering, traveling and sports, especially Futbol (soccer) Hala Madrid!!!
