HEY ALICE

Hey! I'm a product designer who leads with curiosity. I have a passion for social justice and aim to craft experiences that uplift people and make their lives better. I want to build my career around bringing UX design into healthcare and human services... For the last 10 years, I have worked in the behavioral health field with a focus on addiction treatment programming. All of my jobs required curiosity and empathy and there were deep, painful problems to solve. I had the most success in helping people when the process was collaborative and iterative. In these roles, I developed skills in interviewing and empathy, iterative problem solving, project management, stakeholder management, program development and design, and communication... Alice is a product designer based in Portland, Oregon. She has a background in addiction treatment and designs with curiosity and creates solutions that empower people.
