Students in Making Rights Real: The Ghana Project work closely with Professor Lucie White and Ghanaian organizations that focus on the human rights dimensions of Ghana's economic and social rights as realized on the ground. In 2020-21 the focus of attention with be the right of Ghana's most marginalized children to a basic education. The partnership between the Project and its Ghanaian affiliates began in 2000, and has focused on health, urban sanitation, natural resource extraction/environmental justice, and most recently, in partnership with faculty and students from the University of Ghana School of Law, basic education.
