Almeta McGlothlin - President

Almeta McGlothlin, President and Owner of Hope Mental Health, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has a Master of Social Work degree from Campbellsville University. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and has several years' experience in Behavior Supports and Medical Case Management for Intellectually Disabled Adults. Almeta always knew that her calling in life was to help others overcome their struggles and believes that life can be difficult to navigate at times - on our own. Her clients find her to be compassionate and possessing a warmth that makes her approachable and easy to talk to. Her goal of establishing Hope Mental Health is to give back to the community and partner with others in helping them reach their goals. The focus is Helping Other People Excel. She is currently providing outpatient therapy services to children, adolescents and adults in the office setting; certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional Level 2 and trained in DBT. Almeta is a Pulaski County native who is married with two adult children and three grandchildren. Almeta enjoys being active in her church and small group and when she is not helping others, she enjoys nature activities, spending time with family, traveling, and cooking.

Beth Memmer

Beth is our Administrative Assistant. She had 31 years' experience in Government Administration on the Federal and State level prior to coming to Hope Mental Health. Beth greets clients and answers any questions they may have in a professional manner. Her analytical thinking and great organization skills ensure that billing is accurate and that claims are filed in a timely manner. Beth also purchases and maintains the inventory of supplies, assist with quality improvement initiatives and provides direct support to the President. Beth fell in love with the Lake Cumberland area while visiting family. Originally from Indiana, she now lives in Burnside with her Australian Shepherd, Lucy. Her favorite days are the ones spent with family and friends. She also enjoys spoiling her grandchildren, attending local activities and festivals, reading, playing games, cooking holiday meals, exploring nature, and boating on the lake.

Shawn D. Crabtree

Shawn Crabtree is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has a Master of Science in Social Work degree from the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville, a Master in Public Administration Degree from Eastern Kentucky University, and a Bachelor Degree from Western Kentucky University where he double majored in Social Work and Psychology. He is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level 2 and has several years of both Mental and Public Health experience. From an early age Shawn knew he wanted to be in a helping profession, dreaming of one day becoming a counselor/therapist/clinician. He considers himself blessed to have spent his career either directly or indirectly helping those in need. Shawn is a Wayne County native who has worked in Wayne, McCreary, and Pulaski Counties. He is married with one adult child and one adolescent. He enjoys spiritual activities, the outdoors, home improvement projects, movies, writing, and spending time with his wife and children.
