HOUSE OF HOPE

Against this background, the fka applied for the project "House of Hope - Legal Migration" through the BAMF (Federal Office for Migration and Refugees). Since summer 2021, we have been co-financed for this from funds of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund... We are in contact with the Goethe Institute in Dakar and the German Embassy in The Gambia, which is in the process of being established. Several representatives of official bodies have visited us. One of our most urgent goals is to help and fight for German course exams to take place in The Gambia soon. Then the examinees would no longer have to travel to Dakar, Senegal, which would make life much easier for many Gambians... The project ends in September and there will be a break. We are working hard to raise funds for an extension.
