Following honorable discharge from military service, Kris began a career in aerospace engineering. Responsibilities as electrical subsystem engineer at Space Systems/Loral included providing for and managing the design, manufacture, integration, and certification of complete commercial satellite power systems. After a brief period at Ball Aerospace & Technologies, Kris would go on to lead and manage a team of more than 20 engineers at Lockheed Martin working under various classified U.S. Department of Defense missile and space-based projects. Kris also contributed his talents as a contractor for NASA and has closely participated in numerous launch campaigns.
