Amy Inge joined Kalman in May 2018 as the Human Resources Manager and assumed the role of Director of Human Resources in 2019. Her passion is providing HR solutions through technology, compliance and people. In her tenure, she has innovated Kalman's HR management practices through forward-facing implementations that serve each employee with web-based tools and electronic platforms. Amy is responsible to our CEO in supporting employee-focused initiatives, driving a positive culture, and ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws and industry regulations.
Amy holds a Bachelor's Degree from Longwood University. She is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Prior to joining Kalman & Company, Inc., Amy held several corporate HR leadership positions in professional services and IT organizations within the Federal Contracting industry. Amy enjoys spending time with family and friends, entertaining, painting, and long walks with her dog, Gracie!
Barbara Kalman co-founded Kalman & Company, Inc (Kalman) to provide program management, acquisition, logistics, and business and analytical services to both the Government and commercial sectors. For over 30 years, Ms. Kalman has provided the vision, leadership, and direction of Kalman's successful business practices and empower managers and support staff to effectively support Kalman's clients. Ms. Kalman is a hands-on leader who makes solid, timely, informed decisions on all aspects of Kalman operations and performance.
Given her strong background in Human Resources Management, Ms. Kalman emphasizes a strong focus on employees. She maintains a philosophy that satisfied employees equate to satisfied clients. Cathy Strong is Kalman's Vice President of Contracts and Corporate Governance. Her initial role with Kalman began over 17 years ago as a finance analyst. She quickly proved herself indispensable through her tireless work ethic, technical acumen, and flexibility. Cathy is responsible to our CEO in overseeing all contractual actions including developing pricing strategies for best value to our clients, managing daily contract execution, generating monthly and annual reporting, overseeing effective teaming and subcontracts, and interfacing with our Government Contracting Officer Representatives, Contract Specialists and Contracting Officers. She is an integral part of every effort from opportunity identification to award execution. Cathy has overseen over $100 million in awarded contracts for Kalman. She also serves as Risk Manager collaboratively providing oversight to all Kalman operations across our portfolio.
Cathy holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Old Dominion University. She is an active member in her church, women's bible studies and community service, serving on a local Board of Directors as treasurer. Cathy's two children, keep her busy, engaged and a participant in a wide array of activities from theater to volleyball to rocketry.

Christie Woodward joined Kalman in 2019 as a Program Manager and was immediately recognized for her keen leadership, business acumen, and employee focus. She assumed her role as Director of Defense Portfolio Development, National Capital Region (NCR) in 2020. Christie is responsible to our Vice President of Contracts and Corporate Governance and our CEO to support an expansive portfolio of the full spectrum of professional, technical and acquisition services to our DoD clients in the NCR. Notably, Christie adeptly manages Kalman's support to the Joint Program Executive Office, Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND). Her successful leadership is informed by over 21 years of professional experience providing a broad range of professional, technical, and management support and over 16 years specifically in the DoD contracted services industry.
Christie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Ashford University. In her spare time, Christie enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and whenever possible, visiting the beach to put her toes in the sand.

As Kalman's Director, Business Analytics (BA), Chris Milo leads our BA Team and our Government Analytics efforts. Since joining the Kalman team in 2018, Chris has applied his software and IT system expertise to help expand our presence and diversify our portfolio. He leverages his extensive education, strategic and operational leadership, and certified experience to develop dynamic functional teams and practical solutions for our clients.
He holds a B.S. in Economics from The George Washington University and an M.B.A. from Boston University. He also maintains a certification as an ICEAA Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA). In his spare time, he enjoys reading and exploring old battlefields around Leesburg, Virginia. He currently serves as Treasurer for his Homeowner's Association.

- Vice President Business Analytics
Daniel Mask joined Kalman in 2015 as a Program Manager and assumed his role of Director of Business Analytics in 2016 and Vice President in 2019. He leads a team of analysts supporting decision analytics, cost estimating and analysis, and risk analysis efforts for DoD and Civil Agencies. He currently manages Kalman's analytical support to Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) providing cost, risk and program analysis support to MARCORSYSCOM, Program Executive Office for Land Systems (PEO LS) and Program Executive Office for Manpower, Logistics and Business Solutions (PEO MLB). Prior to joining Kalman, he served as a Program Manager and operations research analyst providing support to US Army, US Navy, US Air Force, DARPA, and commercial/501(c)(3) organizations and as an electrical engineer providing 15kV electrical design support to the CVN 21 Program.
He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Virginia and an M.B.A. in Finance from The College of William & Mary. Daniel also maintains certifications as an ICEAA Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA) and Project Management Institute (PMI)-certified Project Management Professional (PMP). In his spare time, Daniel enjoys coaching youth soccer for his children and tackling home renovation projects with his wife.

Denny Mireles is Kalman's Chief Information Officer. As CIO, he is responsible to the CEO for Kalman's network, information and telecommunication systems, integration of cloud technologies, strategies for effective communication and collaboration across the company's world-wide enterprise, and policy development. Denny oversees the research and selection of IT equipment, applications, and supplies to achieve company short- and long-term business strategies. He is responsible for the security of the company's IT infrastructure and ensuring compliance with applicable cybersecurity regulations.
Denny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science in Information and Telecommunications Systems Management from Capitol College. He also maintains certification as a Project Management Institute (PMI)-certified Project Management Professional. Prior to joining Kalman, Denny completed 22 years of commissioned service as a CH-53D helicopter pilot in the United States Marine Corps. He and his wife, Sheila, have three children and four grandchildren.

Eric Kalman is Kalman & Company's in house Counsel, Eric is responsible to the CEO for reviewing all documents requiring legal expertise and where appropriate, assigning outside counsel. Eric works on Non-Disclosures, Teaming Agreements, Subcontracting Agreements and Organizational Conflict of Interest Plans.
Eric Kalman holds a BS, (Business Administration), St. Leo's; MBA, Troy State; JD, Regent University; Eric Kalman is a member of the Virginia Bar Association.
Kevin Brickhouse is Kalman & Company's Executive Vice President. He is responsible to the CEO for communicating and implementing Kalman's vision, mission and overall direction. Kevin bears responsibility to the CEO for the entire Kalman business enterprise and works with each member of the corporate staff to optimize communication, competitiveness, processes and profitability. He maintains visibility of Kalman's external and internal competitive landscape and applies resources to achieve optimal business outcomes. Kevin leads Kalman's efforts to recruit and sustain a diverse and talented workforce.
Prior to joining Kalman, Kevin was a Business Manager and Vice President for an international science and technology firm after completing 25 years of commissioned service as an Infantry Officer in the United States Marine Corps.
He holds a B.S. (History) Georgia State University, a M.S. (Systems Management) from University of Southern California, and a M.S (National Security Strategy) National War College, National Defense University.
A Virginia native, Kevin and his wife live in Alexandria, VA. They enjoy vacations & frequent visits with their adult children, traveling, reading, entertaining friends and being outdoors.

- Director, Ground Combat Equipment
John Hernandez is Kalman's Director, Ground Combat Equipment. His portfolio notably includes Kalman's support to USMC's Program Manager Infantry Combat Equipment (PM ICE) and the USMC's Consolidated Storage Program (CSP). John, a retired USMC Master Gunnery Sergeant, has over 16 years of continuous service to Kalman's clients here at home and throughout the world. He is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all developed and fielded ICE. John is involved with the testing, evaluation, fielding, and training of ICE. These events often take place above the Artic Circle and in the high Sierras and the Mojave Desert. As PM ICE's New Equipment Trainer (NET), John develops and produces all ground equipment training videos. You can see some of this innovative training support on the Marine Corps Systems Command's YouTube channel which focuses on equipping our Marines. His active engagement benefits us all.
When not traveling in support of our USMC clients, John enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, playing softball, yardwork, and traveling.
Julie Shilling joined Kalman & Company, Inc. in September of 2019 as Controller. Julie has a comprehensive background that includes over 20 years of combined Accounting/ Financial Leadership experience obtained within the government contracting environment serving in both the public and private accounting sectors. Her primary responsibilities include managing the company's finances, including strategic financial planning, management of financial risks, accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting/record keeping, and data analysis. She is responsible for developing and maintaining all accounting practices and the design and implementation of internal control processes and procedures, maintaining Kalman's Jamis Prime ERP system, ensuring compliance with accounting, tax, and finance regulations of any related regulatory state/federal agencies.
Her education includes a Bachelors' Degree in Accounting and an MBA with a concentration in Accounting. Julie enjoys spending time with her US Navy retired husband, her children, and extended family. Her special interests include training and performance with horses as a competitive dressage rider.

- Director of Communications / Deputy for Corporate Governance
Kelley Kulina-Ryder joined the Kalman team in 2009 as an analyst. Leveraging her editorial background and program management experience, she went on to manage Kalman's Proposal Operations during one of Kalman's largest periods of growth and portfolio diversification. She also spearheaded efforts to successfully solidify our Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) certification and status. As the Kalman Director of Communications, she is responsible for amplifying Kalman's voice, shaping our message, and positioning Kalman as a thought leader amongst Kalman's team, clients, partners, and industry. She also serves as Deputy for Corporate Governance, directly assisting our VP of Contracts and Corporate Governance.
She holds a B.A. in Government and English from the College of William and Mary and a Master Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University. She and her husband like to spend their time to cooking, eating, renovating their (almost) century home, and keeping up with their two young boys- who also like to cook, eat, and "demo" their home.
Walter Kalman is recognized as an expert in business and analytical process and earned a reputation as a strategic thinker and business process innovator. He designed and implemented the first strategic business advisory cell for the Program Manager CBRN at the Marine Corps Systems Command. Walter is a subject matter expert in contract law and has taught at the collegiate level on the East and West coasts. Walter is also a Fellow of the National Contracts Management Association (NCMA).
Walter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a Masters of Administration and Education from American University, and a JD from George Mason University with a specialty in contracts law.
Barbara and Walter Kalman co-founded Kalman & Company in 1986 and for over 30 years have provided program management, acquisition, and business and analytical services to both the government and commercial sectors. They actively support numerous national and local charities with emphasis on our Veterans and the SPCA.
