KMOP is among the oldest Greek civil society organizations, founded in 1977, with 40 years of accumulated experience in supporting disadvantaged groups of various backgrounds... KMOP believes that a prerequisite for building a better world is addressing the underlying causes of vulnerability by building resilience of individuals and communities to anticipate, resist and recover from the risks that shifting societal, technological and environmental developments create... KMOP has been working in many countries outside Greece, including also Macedonia, with a presence in the country since 2015. KMOP's activities in the country started from setting up a project office and have escalated and evolved to a local branch, which has been registered as a local NGO and works autonomously, with the mandate of capitalizing on KMOP's background and track record for the benefit of the vulnerable groups of the country.
