Emmanuelle Bauer, associate, mainly advises clients on employment law, contract law and commercial law, both as counsel and in litigation.
With a background in intellectual property law, she also practices in trademark and copyright law, and advises on and negotiates contracts relating to intellectual property rights.
Emmanuelle Bauer was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2004 ; she is also a member of the Ajaccio Bar.
Marie Andrieux, associate, advises on tax law, real estate taxation and corporate taxation.
She advises major players in sectors of real estate development and hotels, as well as real estate companies and property traders.
Marie Jackson, partner, specializes in corporate and tax law. She advises medium-sized businesses and their managers in the context of the corporate life of their groups, dealing with current or exceptional transactions (acquisitions, disposals, partial contributions of assets, tax deferred contributions, mergers) and personal taxation, particularly that of managers. She acts in various sectors of activity such as real estate or the hotel industry.
She also assists real estate developer clients in matters of urban planning taxes and local taxation, in particular at the time of building restructuring and renovation operations.
Marie Jackson began her career with PDGB and joined LIGL when it was founded in 2003.
Philippine Lefebvre, associate, advises on corporate law, in the context of mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and equity transactions, as well as in the regular legal monitoring of companies.
After having worked in a law firm dedicated to corporate distress, she joined Kohn & Associés and practiced there for nearly three years, both as counsel and in litigation, before joining LIGL in July 2021.
Thomas Beal is a partner at LIGL. His practice focuses on real estate law, both as counsel and in judicial and administrative litigation.
He is a former director of legal affairs for a local authority and has been a lawyer at LIGL since 2009.
Xavier Thouvenin, partner, advises and litigates on issues relating to the day-to-day management of companies, disputes between partners and the drafting of complex contracts.
He advises major players in the real estate, new economy, banking, hotel, services and video game sectors. He assists companies in the implementation of transformation, merger, restructuring, outsourcing and partnership projects and also acts as a strategic advisor.
After starting his career as a lawyer in New York, he joined Moquet Borde & Associés on his return to France, where he worked mainly on acquisitions and restructuring operations before joining Lovells in Paris and then London. He then worked at Franklin before becoming a partner at FLV & Associés where he practiced for more than 13 years.
