For many years of my adult life I battled with acne. With a 14 year background in nursing, I know all too well that there are solutions of a medical fix and I also know no one wants to live on prescriptions. I was more interested in finding solutions to my acne without medical intervention. In 2015, I stopped taking oral contraception and was urged to restart it once my face started to breakout. At this point I had had enough. The first order of business was to deal with the fact that my acne made me self-conscious. I decided to pick up a make up brush. Watching Youtube was a thing... I looked around and found beauty influencers whose style I liked and could follow. I started a beauty group so I could share my journey and some of the things I had learned with ladies that were interested in some of the same..
