AEROSPACE SYSTEMS

In the field of Aerospace Systems, sixteen university institute and three institute of the German Aerospace Center, altogether more than 500 researchers, conduct research and are engaged in education in Germany. Aerospace Systems comprises guidance of air traffic on ground and in the air as well as modelling and simulation of aircraft and their subsystems. The human-machine interaction is of central importance. The technical expertise in the field helps to constantly improve the reliability of aerospace systems, thus guaranteeing safety in air traffic. This website gives an overview of our competencies and highlights our part in shaping the future.
