MEGHANHARGRAVE

Before starting her own consulting work in 2019, Meghan worked as a Senior Staff Developer at Columbia University's Teachers College Reading and Writing Project in New York, New York. There she supported teachers and schools across the world in literacy best practices, taught courses for the Teacher's College Literacy Specialist Program, supervised pre-service teachers and trained incoming staff developers. She led advanced on-site institutes, presented nationally at Heinemann workshop and offered professional development around a variety of current topics... Meghan began her teaching career as a first-grade teacher in Skokie, Illinois before taking a fifth-grade position in Winnetka, Illinois, both suburbs of Chicago. She holds an M.Ed from Loyola University, Chicago and an undergraduate degree from Saint Mary's College at Notre Dame.
