Started in 2012, Our owners Govind and Anita Shrestha took over a small retail ice cream store ( Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream ) in Skokie, Illinois as a way to help their sons through their transition from Nepal to the United States. What they didn't know was that their family was about to get bigger, a lot bigger. Operating for over 9 years and counting, the little ice cream store in a small community became their home and the customers an extended family. Now they want to make people smile through their delicious ice cream and desserts, not just in the Skokie community, but the entire country. By hand crafting delicious treats and combining traditional Nepali recipes and American delights, our owners are committed to not just serving delicious desserts, but making people smile...
