NANSEN LODGE

Based in Long Beach, the Fridtjof Nansen Lodge offers cultural meetings and social events to promote Norwegian heritage. We sponsor a Syttende Mai celebration each year in May to honor the May 17th Constitution Day of Norway... Our lodge, formed on June 5, 1930, is named after Fridtjof Nansen, a Norwegian explorer, scientist and diplomat, awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1922 .
